Cafe de Goa | Calangute

Delicious daily specials, weekly monsoon Sunday brunches, smoked salmon, hearty salads and strong dark espressos, this is one turn off the main Calangute – Mapusa Road you don’t want to miss.

Open year round and occupying an airy outdoor patio, Cafe de Goa is a true gem amidst the otherwise hectic and often over crowded Northern beach belt. Somewhat tucked away from the main drag, this little cafe-cum-grocer which opened in 2012, is the perfect place for a relaxing break whether it be from the high-season heat or the monsoon rains. Not only that but they also tend to fill their menu with all those specialty ingredients you just can’t find on your regular trips to the market. Using them throughout an extensive range of sweet and savory dishes as well as stocking the shelves of their adjacent shop. Here you can find a wide array of local organic produce, select wines, handmade pickles, jams and jellies along with an assortment of artisanal crafts.
