The People Place Project comes to Goa for a 2 day Writer's Workshop

Inviting enthusiasts to contribute stories about people, places and communities in Goa.

The People Place Project is an initiative that explores writing as a tool of 'placemaking' and fosters the spirit of people that make a place. As a part of this, the book titled 'People Called Goa' will be a compilation of 55 short stories from the place, sharing experiences through oral histories. Each of these stories shall aspire to reveal the State in its true essence encompassing the biodiversity, diaspora, and cultures that make it truly what it is.  In an effort to gather diverse experiences, The People Place Project along with Matter Content Initiative is inviting enthusiastic writers and storytellers to a two-day Writers' Workshop where they can contribute to the writing process with their own short stories.

Date: Saturday, 14th March & Sunday, 15th March 2020  Time: 13.30-17.30 / (1.30pm-5.30pm) Venue: Bookworm Library, Panjim
